About The Position
Oversees clerical/LPAA operations, including clerical support of laboratory operations, problem resolution, technical development and procedure implementation, etc. Evaluates and trains phlebotomy staff. As applicable for the laboratory section: Performs routine Laboratory clerical procedures, collects patient specimens; accessions and distributes specimens and / or blood products; prepares specimens for analysis; prepare blood products for patient and of blood products.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- 6 months previous laboratory experience clinical or hospital based
- Must possess or be eligible for national certification in phlebotomy
- Certification in CPR is required
Nice To Haves
- Completion of phlebotomy training program (240 hours)
- Experience in a Leadership position
