About The Position

The Lab Manager will manage and ensure operational readiness of a semiconductor laboratory. They will also collaborate with dynamic graduate & undergraduate students, postdocs, and experienced faculty from Engineering and Physics with strong academic and industry backgrounds and have the opportunity to contribute to research innovations, patent disclosures, and related technology development activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field (Ph.D. is a plus).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting high-vacuum equipment such as CVD , PVD , or related thin-film deposition systems.
  • Prior experience in a semiconductor fabrication or cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with vacuum science, thin-film growth techniques, and semiconductor device processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and supervise students, researchers, or technical staff on synthesis, processing, and characterization equipment.
  • Strong commitment to laboratory safety and adherence to compliance standards.
