You'll direct 24/7 lab team, champion accreditation excellence (AABB, CAP, CLIA), and partner with providers when it matters most. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Four (4) years’ training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
• Two (2) years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• MLS or Specialty Certification.
• Additional related education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, directs and manages operational activities within the laboratory to effectively meet Company objectives.
• Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
• Hires, trains, conducts performance evaluations, and manages the workflow for staff.
• Initiates promotions, transfers, and performance management activities.
• Provides quality, timely, reliable and consistent services.
• Confers with director to determine how to best accomplish functions within established procedures and guidelines including FTE’s and expense budgets.
• Confers with director for unusual situations.
