About The Position

The Advanced Airborne RF Sensors department within the Space and Airborne Systems Engineering and Test Capability (SE&TC) Center is seeking a Lab Hardware Coordinator to support integration and test activities within a dynamic lab environment in Plano, Texas. This role is critical to ensuring the readiness, compliance, and availability of Special Test Equipment (STE) and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) used across engineering and test programs. This is an Onsite role in Plano, Texas.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Manage, organize, and maintain Special Test Equipment (STE) and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) in accordance with program and regulatory requirements
  • Experience maintaining accurate documentation and tracking records (e.g., calibration logs, asset registers, equipment disposition, hardware inventory), using spreadsheets and/or enterprise systems (ERP/CMMS/asset tracking)
  • Experience coordinating activities across engineering, test, and operations teams to ensure equipment readiness and availability.
  • Knowledge of foundational lab safety and handling practices (e.g., ESD‑safe procedures, adherence to SOPs).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with government property management standards, including proper documentation, handling, and audits
  • Maintain inventory tracking systems, including asset status, location, and calibration records
  • Coordinate hardware setup and configuration to support lab integration, test, and engineering activities
  • Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware issues and ensure equipment readiness
  • Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for lab equipment
  • Support lab operations by preparing equipment for test events and ensuring proper teardown and storage
  • Assist in improving lab processes, organization, and efficiency of hardware utilization
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure timely availability of equipment to meet program schedules
