About The Position
Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Lab Data Entry Clerk for their Grain division in Winnipeg, MB. This role involves accurately documenting test results on grain samples for growers, traders, and P&H facilities. The position will support the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with assigned duties. This is a contract role from August to December 2026, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and may include occasional overtime or weekend hours.
Requirements
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and solve quality issues
- Experience utilizing Excel
- Effective communicator both written and verbal
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and basic comprehension of lab terminology is an asset
Responsibilities
- Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples
- Responding to general questions via Quality Control inbox
- Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activity
