The Lab Customer Support understands and applies knowledge of specimen requirements when receiving specimens. Prepares specimens for testing as applicable. This can include: receiving, labeling centrifuging and plating. Answers telephone calls and assists caller with any questions or concerns regarding specimen collection. Adheres to laboratory and safety polices including compliance with all safety, accreditation and regulatory standards.
