About The Position

Transports supplies, specimens, films, food, records, equipment and sometimes people, to and from the hospital in a safe courteous manner using a hospital-provided vehicle. The Laboratory courier is responsible for delivering reports and hospital mail to outreach customers and for laboratory specimen pickup. This is a great opportunity for a Lab Courier professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually!

Requirements

• Current Michigan chauffeurs licence.
• Bondable.
• Police-verified good driving record.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Six months to one year prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport supplies, specimens, films, food, records, equipment and sometimes people to and from the hospital, medical centers or other facilities.
• Maintain records, reports and travel logs.
• Respond to expressed requests and needs from customers in a timely fashion.
• Provide minor maintenance to vehicle.
• Coordinate mechanical maintenance.
• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness.
