About The Position
The purpose of the Lab Courier position is to pick-up and deliver labs (blood, specimens, etc.) between Wilmington Health offices and other facilities. Essential duties include transporting labs from satellite offices to the main lab for processing daily, and delivering labs from Wilmington Health to the hospital at 2131 S 17th Street Wilmington NC 28401 as needed daily. The role also involves assisting the Lab department in any non-clinical area as needed or required.
Requirements
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license.
- Good driving record.
- Know schedule stops and requirements.
- Good communication skills.
- Be able to locate and retrieve Medical Records and x-rays from warehouse.
