Lab Courier - Part Time

About The Position

This is a part-time position responsible for picking up and delivering labs, such as blood and specimens, between WH offices and other facilities. The role involves transporting labs from satellite offices to the main lab for processing daily and delivering labs from Wilmington Health to the hospital as needed daily. The courier will also assist the Lab department in any non-clinical area as needed or required.

Requirements

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Know schedule stops and requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Be able to locate and retrieve Medical Records and x-rays from warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Transport labs (blood, specimens, etc.) from satellite offices to main lab for processing daily.
• Deliver labs (blood, specimens, etc.) from Wilmington Health to the hospital at 2131 S 17th Street Wilmington NC 28401 as needed daily.
• Assist Lab department in any non-clinical area as needed or required.
