The Lab Computing Analyst will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and providing technical support for customer laboratory IT environments, often integrated with instrumentation. This role involves administering and ensuring the connectivity of customer's Windows-based platforms, supporting operating systems, desktop hardware, peripherals, instrument-controlled software, and core desktop applications. The analyst will manage the onboarding, retirement, and relocation of equipment, implement Windows-based security measures, and analyze/implement enhancements to improve desktop platform support. They will also act as a technical support contact for instrument vendors, repair and troubleshoot instrument-related computers, and provide technical support for new system validations and change management efforts. Additionally, the role requires creating and maintaining an inventory of lab equipment, submitting weekly reports, acting as a client liaison, participating in client team meetings, and providing support across PerkinElmer Enterprise practices. The analyst must demonstrate appropriate use of office equipment/software and maintain training in health, safety, security, environmental, and operational aspects.
