About The Position

We are seeking a Laboratory Computing Analyst to support and maintain critical laboratory systems, instrument-connected workstations, and regulated computing environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of laboratory applications while providing technical support to scientific and laboratory personnel. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of laboratory systems and regulated environments.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting laboratory applications such as Empower, LabX, NuGenesis, or similar laboratory information and instrument management systems.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills across Windows-based systems, applications, and laboratory computing environments.
  • Experience supporting instrument-connected PCs and laboratory workstations.
  • Understanding of GxP, GMP, data integrity principles, and audit trail requirements in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, user administration, system access management, and endpoint support.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support scientific and non-technical users.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated laboratory environments.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and instrument integration technologies.
  • Experience supporting computerized system validation (CSV) activities.
  • Knowledge of laboratory network connectivity and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration, maintenance, and end-user support for laboratory systems including Empower, LabX, NuGenesis, and other laboratory applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues affecting laboratory software, instrument-connected workstations, data acquisition systems, and instrument interfaces.
  • Support laboratory users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure laboratory systems remain operational to minimize disruptions to testing, research, and production activities.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, configurations, and system validations within laboratory environments.
  • Support instrument-connected PCs, operating systems, network connectivity, and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel, quality teams, and IT groups to resolve technical and compliance-related issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support knowledge articles.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives within the laboratory environment.
  • Support GxP-regulated laboratory systems to ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, and corporate quality standards.
  • Perform audit trail reviews and system monitoring activities to support regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with data integrity investigations, corrective actions, and compliance remediation efforts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and change control records related to laboratory systems.
  • Participate in validation activities and support regulatory audits and inspections as required.
  • Ensure laboratory computing systems adhere to security, access control, and data retention policies.
