Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in respiratory therapy, chemistry, biology, lab science or clinical science.
- Three years of experience in a high complexity laboratory or respiratory therapy.
- Must meet requirements as outlined by the Licensure of Clinical Laboratories, State of Georgia.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated knowledge of multiple computer and software systems.
- Experience as a Lab Technician or quality improvement or related field.
- Two years of experience with a lab computer system.
- Ability to develop, organize, and implement projects, programs, or policies
Responsibilities
- Oversees blood gas safety and education programs, providing employees with a safe work environment, and ensuring compliance to organizational and accreditation agency standards.
- Provides support to laboratory information systems (LIS) users and works in collaboration with LIS staff in database building, upgrades, ongoing maintenance and education.
