About The Position

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital (Mass Vet) is seeking a full-time Veterinary Laboratory Attendant to join our team in Woburn, MA. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year of experience in a professional work environment.
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with excellent follow-through.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in a clinical or veterinary setting preferred.
Veterinary Technician experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process laboratory samples while accurately entering results into the hospital information system.
Prepare specimens for external and specialty laboratory testing, including completing submission forms, packaging, and shipping.
Perform routine quality control testing and scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipment.
Accurately complete laboratory logbooks, including shipping and temperature logs.
Unpack, organize, and restock laboratory supplies.
Communicate laboratory results and updates with veterinary teams throughout the hospital.
Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient laboratory environment.
Support high-quality patient care through accurate, timely laboratory processing.
