The Lab Associate will be responsible for performing and documenting laboratory procedures with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines. This role requires good judgment in assessing procedure progress and results, and the ability to identify and escalate abnormal findings or potential quality control failures to senior lab personnel. The associate will also be involved in equipment calibration and maintenance, assisting in the review and development of laboratory procedures, and identifying process improvements. Additionally, the role includes managing supply inventory, participating in continuing education, collecting biological samples (potentially including phlebotomy), preparing raw materials for downstream processes, and completing special projects as assigned.
