About The Position

Christian Hospital has a full-time (Nights) Lab Associate opportunity available. This position is a great opportunity for those interested in phlebotomy. Experience is preferred. The hours are 2100 - 730. This role involves shift differential pay and rotating holidays/weekends and on-call duties (2 shifts within a six-week period). Requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
