About The Position
Peco Foods Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lab Assistant for our Corporate Microbiology Lab to support sample preparation and laboratory operations. This is a part-time position Tuesday-Friday each week.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of college coursework with a strong emphasis in life sciences
- Competent math and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to follow written procedures
- Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work alone
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree in laboratory technology
- Experience in basic laboratory procedure
- Experience in chemical safety procedures
