About The Position

Our Processing Laboratory Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing and provide support to the Bench Techs to help ensure the right product gets to the right patient. In addition, our Lab Assistants prepare components, release and label products, and prepare products for shipping. This is a FT/30+ position working a minimum of 32 hours per week on 3rd Shift including every other Saturday, plus a Holiday rotation. Additional shift premium pay available when working eligible shifts and/or weekends.

Requirements

Very detail oriented with great accuracy
Great communication skills, and a team player
High School diploma or equivalent is required
The ability to stand for long periods of time
The ability to lift up-to 50 pounds
Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required

Nice To Haves

Previous work in the medical field is preferred
Associate’s Degree or Medical Assistant Degree is preferred
