About The Position
Our dental team is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dental Lab Assistant to support the Lab Manager with daily operations. This position involves assisting with impressions, operating lab equipment, and performing a variety of lab-related tasks to ensure the highest quality of dental appliances and restorations.
Requirements
- CPR Certification (required)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Experience working with dental lab equipment and making impressions
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Well-organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and fine motor skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a dental lab (preferred)
- Lab procedure knowledge appreciated
Responsibilities
- Pouring and Trimming Models
- Organizing and tracking lab cases and materials
- Wrought Wire bending for dental appliances
- Acrylic powder/liquid appliance fabrication
- Wire soldering
- Performing lab maintenance and inventory duties
- Operating and maintaining dental lab equipment and tools
- Following sterilization and infection control protocols
