Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! Position will work between Southway Lab and Northway Lab.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Graduate from or in the process of pursuing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical-related program
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from the patient
- Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
- Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up
