About The Position

Requirements

• Overnight availability
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience working in a laboratory environment
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Review all patient sample information for accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Process patient sample information and physician test orders into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) accurately.
• Ensure all required information per HIPAA/CAP/CLIA standards is obtained and verified on all orders.
• Identify any missing information and follow proper procedures to address it.
• Scan patient requisitions for electronic medical records.
• Keep an error rate below 0.10%, with the ultimate goal of achieving zero errors per month.
