The Laboratory Assistant – Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting, receiving, and distributing specimens within the laboratory, as well as the operation of anticipated laboratory equipment. Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of phlebotomy experience.
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
Graduation from Phlebotomist Tech training program.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate lab equipment.
Proficient in human venipuncture techniques.
Excellent analytical and organization skills.
Excellent critical thinking judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations.
Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.
