About The Position
Assists licensed laboratory personnel by performing certain limited duties as permitted under CABPC 1269. This role requires the ability to apply independent judgment while carrying out written and/or oral instructions, deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations and work with Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience
- At least one (1) year experience and/or training as a laboratory assistant.
- Knowledge of software applications such as MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.
