About The Position
Highland Hospital is seeking a Lab Assistant to join the team. This is a per diem role with 8-24 hours a week. The Lab Assistant receives laboratory specimens and requisitions of all types and enters the information into the laboratory information system (LIS) and hospital information system (HIS).
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
- Six months of clinical laboratory or healthcare experience.
- Medical terminology.
- Keyboarding.
- Microsoft Windows.
- Microsoft Outlook experience recommended.

Responsibilities
- Receives laboratory specimens and requisitions of all types.
