About The Position

This position is a part-time, temporary position filled each semester on an as-needed basis. The Lab Assistant will assist the Program Chair or Adjunct Faculty in answering student questions regarding lab projects, conducting teaching demonstrations, performing minor equipment repairs, preparing equipment and materials for labs, and maintaining the tool room. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED required

• Two years on-the-job training

Responsibilities

• Assisting Program Chair or Adjunct Faculty in answering questions from students regarding lab projects
