About The Position
The Lab Assistant assists laboratory technical staff by performing various pre-analytical and support functions. Orders and verifies specimens. Performs pre-analytical specimen preparation. Processes referral testing. Processes specimen rejections. Responds to customer requests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
Nice To Haves
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
