About The Position
The Parichy lab is seeking part-time assistants to perform routine tasks in molecular biology and animal facilities. Responsibilities include solution preparation, plate pouring, sterilization, organization, inventory, and care and feeding of zebrafish for developmental genetic and evolutionary studies. This entry-level position offers opportunities for professional skills development and assisting with ongoing research projects such as mutant screens, CRISPR gene perturbation, PCR, and molecular cloning. Hours are flexible around course schedules.
