Lab Assistant, BIOL - Parichy Lab - Federal Work-Study (Student Wage)
About The Position
The Parichy lab is seeking part-time assistants to perform routine tasks in molecular biology and animal facilities. Responsibilities include solution preparation, plate pouring, sterilization, organization, inventory, and the care and feeding of zebrafish and related species used in developmental genetic and evolutionary studies. While this is an entry-level position, there are opportunities for professional skills development and assisting with ongoing research projects such as mutant screens, CRISPR gene perturbation, PCR, molecular cloning, and other related activities. Hours are flexible around course schedules.
