This position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery/Post Partum/Nursery, focusing on night shifts. The role involves educating patients about pregnancy, providing prenatal screenings, preparing patients for labor and delivery, and assessing the new mother's physical recovery. Responsibilities include assisting with pain management during labor, administering medications, monitoring fetal well-being, and providing care for newborns. The nurse will also educate patients on postpartum care, breastfeeding, family planning, and reproductive health, and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using electronic fetal monitoring.
