About The Position

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provides expert, compassionate care throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period on the Labor & Delivery night team. The role involves monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal status, assisting with deliveries and emergencies, and supporting mothers and families emotionally and physically.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Active South Carolina RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification; American Heart Association certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal status.
