About The Position

This is a unique 13-week travel assignment for L&D Nurses to support five Critical Access Hospitals serving rural communities throughout Central Washington. Instead of being assigned to one hospital, nurses will become part of a shared regional resource team, helping independent hospitals in rural communities maintain access to high-quality maternal care. This role is for nurses who can quickly learn new workflows, build trust with new teams, adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and are willing to help wherever needed. The opportunity is described as being about more than filling shifts, but about helping keep maternity care available to rural families and being part of something bigger than a single hospital.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Active Washington RN license OR eligible multistate/compact RN license
• ACLS
• PALS
• STABLE
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Reliable transportation
• Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Previous Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
