Job Description: Job Family Definition: Based on identified training needs in the company business segments/global functions, designs and develops sales, technical or leadership/management training materials, including both traditional and media-based deliverables. Works with project teams to assess, design, develop, evaluate and/or acquire content, and assist with the delivery readiness of sales, leadership/management and/or technical training programs. Audiences may include company employees, partners, or customers. Tests and refines course content by delivering pilot training to sample participants; also delivers train-the-trainer programs. Management Level Definition: Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.

Requirements

  • First level university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 0-1 years in a training development role.
  • Basic facilitation, content design, and consulting skills.
  • Basic ability to understand business and financial planning concepts.
  • Basic ability to learn leadership, communication, change management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to understand new tools, technologies, and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the portfolio management process, which includes supporting needs assessment, solution selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement and innovation of learning solutions.
  • Assists with the alignment of development priorities with the needs of the business/functions.
  • Supports tracking and reporting of activity against assigned project budgets.
  • Supports cost-benefit and business impact analyses of alternative learning solutions as appropriate.
