About The Position

Keep the platform behind the applications running strong. Help secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters stay reliable, scalable, and ready for demanding workloads. Support advanced computing, data analytics and enterprise infrastructure that help mission teams work with demanding workloads and shared technical services.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Linux command-line tools
• Bash and Python scripting
• Docker or Podman
• Kubernetes administration, monitoring and workload troubleshooting
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Ansible
• Helm chart development and maintenance
• Prometheus and Grafana
• Git
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
• Live within commuting distance of Annapolis Junction, MD

Nice To Haves

• Jira and Confluence
• Agile DevOps
• Python REST services and microservices, or willingness to learn
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux-based Kubernetes platforms
• Monitor availability, capacity and cluster performance
• Resolve ingress, networking, storage and workload issues
• Automate platform operations with scripts and Ansible
• Maintain Helm charts and operational configurations
• Support security compliance and platform reliability
