About The Position

As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will develop container management software to solve complex client challenges. This role involves honing skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration. You will support the team by informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources for secure container adoption. You will also strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevSecOps, or systems engineering within classified environments
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS, including IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB/ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud environments, programming languages, and supporting CI/CD
  • Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with Linux‑based systems such as RedHat or CentOS
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience creating technical documentation, system diagrams, and SOPs
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, container registry management, and image‑hardening approaches
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community mission partners
  • Experience operating AWS EKS
  • Knowledge of cloud‑native tooling or vulnerability‑analysis concepts
  • Knowledge of modernization frameworks used across mission programs
