About The Position
We are seeking a Kubernetes Administrator to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing containerized applications across production-grade Kubernetes clusters, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements
- Experience administering Kubernetes in production environments
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of networking, security, and system performance within containerized environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical teams
- Experience supporting healthcare systems or payer environments
- Exposure to Facets or similar healthcare platforms
- Experience working on system migration or transformation projects
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in development, testing, and production environments
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes environments
- Troubleshoot cluster, application, and infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution
- Support deployment and integration activities related to the Facets migration project
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Manage cluster security, including access controls, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
- Monitor system health using logging and monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance
- Maintain documentation for cluster configurations, processes, and best practices
