About The Position

We are seeking a strong Kotlin Backend Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable REST APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in backend development using Kotlin and Java, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and demonstrate emerging leadership capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Kotlin backend development.
• Proven experience in building REST APIs and Microservices.
• Good proficiency in Java backend development.
• Strong understanding of backend system design and architecture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of ownership.

Nice To Haves

• Basic experience to frontend/mobile (Android with Kotlin) is a plus (not mandatory).
• Experience or knowledge in MDM (Mobile Device Management) is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin.
• Build scalable and high-performance REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java where required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support coordination across teams.
