About The Position

Keywords Studios Montreal is looking for native Korean speakers to join their Video Games Proofreaders team. This role involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of text and content within video games, requiring a keen eye for detail and linguistic proficiency. Requirements

• Native Korean speaker.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Korean (spoken and written).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for constant communication with clients and team members outside of Quebec.
• Must live in the Montreal area.
• Available to work from home and in-office according to project demands.
• Hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, open work permit, Working Holiday Visa, or in the process of requesting a work permit.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing time efficiently.
• Comfortable with digital technologies (computers, video game consoles, touchscreens).
• An interest in the video game industry.

• Experience in a similar position or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Proofreading texts and video game content for spelling, syntax, and typography.
• Checking texts for consistency and recommending changes.
• Writing error reports.
• Performing minor, simple translations.
• Ensuring subtitles match the audio tracks.
