About The Position
Join TransPerfect Gaming as a freelance KOREAN to VIETNAMESE gaming translator and proofreader. You will collaborate on exciting localization projects for a variety of games, from indie titles to AAA releases, ensuring an optimal gaming experience for VIETNAMESE players. This role requires a deep passion for gaming and a strong understanding of gaming terminology.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in VIETNAMESE.
- Strong command of KOREAN and ENGLISH.
- Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization and expertise in proofreading (KOREAN > VIETNAMESE).
- Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games.
- Familiar with gaming terminologies.
- Follow instructions on handling tags and character limits.
- Skilled in CAT tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training) OR 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree OR 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required) OR A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body.
