About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Knowledge Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to develop, organize, and maintaining content within Confluence. The role ensures that authoritative information, messaging, and documentation are clearly communicated, consistently structured, and easily accessible to both internal team members and approved external visitors via a centralized landing page. The ideal candidate combines strong written communication skills with technical proficiency in Confluence and a deep appreciation for disciplined knowledge management in a mission-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related discipline from an accredited college or university with 12 years experience or Masters Degree with 10 years experience.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Poly security clearance
  • Experience building and maintaining Confluence as well as technical writing to articulate government objectives.
  • Experience developing written products for senior government, military, or technical audiences
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Confluence for content creation, organization, and knowledge management
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, documentation best practices, and content governance
  • Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong at working in a fast-paced, evolving mission environment
  • Experience managing shared drives, document repositories, or enterprise knowledge platforms
  • Knowledge of strategic communications, messaging frameworks, or digital content strategy
  • Familiarity with U.S. Cyber Command, DoD, or interagency environments
  • Experience supporting AI, cyber, or advanced technology organizations

Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and maintain content within Confluence.
  • Ensure authoritative information, messaging, and documentation are clearly communicated, consistently structured, and easily accessible via a centralized landing page.
  • Develop and implement an organization-wide knowledge management strategy.
  • Define goals for how knowledge will be used to support business objectives and create a roadmap for knowledge management initiatives.
  • Oversee the process of capturing, organizing, and maintaining the organization's intellectual capital.
  • Identify critical knowledge, capture "tacit" knowledge from experts, and ensure all information sharing through intranets, wikis, document management systems, and collaboration platforms (Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Intelink, etc.).
  • Ensure tools are user-friendly and integrated into daily workflows.
  • Promote a culture where knowledge sharing is valued and becomes a natural part of the workflow.
  • Train employees on knowledge management processes and tools, encourage collaboration, and recognize individuals and teams who contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Monitor and analyze how knowledge is being used and its impact on the business.
  • Create reports on key metrics (content message, search success rates) to demonstrate the value of Knowledge Management initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
