About The Position

The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing knowledge management and AI-driven information strategies that enhance the firm's ability to capture, share, discover, and utilize knowledge across the Broadfield global enterprise. This role will drive the modernization of knowledge services through the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced search capabilities, while ensuring governance, quality, security, and responsible use. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to legal, business, and operational teams globally, helping transform knowledge into a competitive advantage by improving collaboration, innovation, and decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, Law, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management principles, information architecture, and content governance.
  • Demonstrated interest in and understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and emerging legal technologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize technology solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise collaboration and knowledge platforms, such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, document management systems, and legal technology platforms.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology and knowledge solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, global, and matrixed organization.
  • Experience driving organizational change and technology adoption initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management, information services, legal operations, legal technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a global professional services, legal, consulting, or enterprise environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across multiple regions, business units, and stakeholder groups.

  • Knowledge Management certification, AI certification, or advanced degree is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • AI Strategy and Adoption: Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-powered knowledge solutions that improve information discovery, legal research, document management, productivity, and collaboration across the firm.
  • AI Governance and Best Practices: Champion established policies, standards, and best practices for the responsible use of AI technologies, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, privacy, and legal requirements.
  • Technology Innovation: Continuously assess emerging legal technology, AI platforms, automation tools, and knowledge solutions to identify opportunities for operational improvement and innovation.
  • Knowledge Platforms and Architecture: Partner with IT and business teams to optimize enterprise knowledge platforms, including document management systems, intranets, search technologies, collaboration tools, and AI-enabled knowledge repositories.
  • Global Enterprise Collaboration: Support the Broadfield global operating model by facilitating knowledge sharing, collaboration, and adoption of best practices across jurisdictions, business units, and functional teams.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead knowledge-related transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, improve user experience, and promote scalable global processes.
  • Data and Analytics: Leverage analytics and reporting tools to measure knowledge utilization, user engagement, AI adoption, and business impact, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Training and Change Management: Develop and deliver training programs that promote effective use of knowledge systems, AI tools, and emerging technologies across the firm.
  • Vendor and Solution Management: Partner with external vendors and technology providers to evaluate, implement, and optimize knowledge management and AI solutions.
