About The Position

Blue Iris Tech is seeking a Senior Level Knowledge Manager to design and implement SharePoint process-improvement solutions that strengthen knowledge management and information sharing across the organization, subject to Government approval. The role involves developing KM SOPs in accordance with Army FM 6-01.1, establishing KM structures and governance, and assessing current SOPs and processes. The Knowledge Manager will facilitate Knowledge Management Working Group (KMWG) sessions, create governance and maintenance plans, custom workflows, site themes, and SharePoint content, and support content migration. Additionally, the role requires providing weekly status updates and supporting CI operations by reviewing operational files, querying data, and identifying leads, gaps, vulnerabilities, and trends.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility/indoctrination for Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification and completion of a Site Collection Administration training course equivalent to Microsoft MS55033.
  • Demonstrated senior-level knowledge management and hands-on SharePoint experience supporting process improvement, workflows, site themes, content management, governance, and migration of content from shared drives or other repositories.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and facilitation skills sufficient to develop KM SOPs and position papers, facilitate Knowledge Management Working Groups, document meeting outcomes, provide recommendations, and communicate status to Government stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge management experience supporting the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, Intelligence Community, or another national-security mission.
  • Strong working knowledge of Army FM 6-01.1 and Army knowledge management structure, governance, and process-improvement practices.
  • Experience leading or administering SharePoint environments in classified or restricted-network settings, including content/records management, permissions, repository design, and knowledge-sharing workflows.
  • Experience developing KM governance and maintenance plans, custom workflows, performance/usage metrics, and recommendations based on stakeholder feedback, surveys, interviews, and working-group priorities.
  • Experience supporting counterintelligence or intelligence operations, strategic communications, operational data queries, or trend analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SharePoint process-improvement solutions that strengthen knowledge management and information sharing across the organization, subject to Government approval.
  • Develop KM SOPs in accordance with Army FM 6-01.1, help establish KM structures and governance, and assess current SOPs and processes through position papers and recommendations.
  • Facilitate Knowledge Management Working Group (KMWG) sessions; distribute information, encourage participation, publish minutes, recommend follow-on actions, and conduct surveys/interviews to improve knowledge sharing.
  • Create governance and maintenance plans, custom workflows, site themes, and SharePoint content; support transfer of content from shared drives and other repositories into SharePoint.
  • Implement KM practices through SharePoint and develop formats and recommendations based on prioritized KMWG requirements and knowledge-sharing needs.
  • Provide weekly status updates and support CI operations trends and strategic communications by reviewing operational files, querying and organizing data, and identifying leads, gaps, vulnerabilities, and trends.
