This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. Summary Mission Technologies a division of HII - Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) provides full-spectrum cyber, EW and space capabilities that address today’s rapidly changing, multi-domain global security threats, and anticipate emerging threats. Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space team is currently seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist Level II in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related discipline + 5 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist
  • US Citizen, due to the sensitivity of the work.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and knowledge management.
  • Coordinating efforts to mainstream knowledge management into core activities and projects, independently builds partnerships and promotes initiatives to identify, and creates and shares knowledge relevant to solving issues and maximizing opportunities.
  • Promoting collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.
  • Integrating information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
  • Training and educating front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
  • Writing knowledge content as required.
