About The Position

The Enterprise Knowledge Management - AI Enablement Lead serves as the deputy leader within the Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) function, partnering closely with the EKM leader to modernize how knowledge and content are created, governed, contextualized, and delivered across the enterprise. This role is responsible for integrating knowledge management, content management, and AI capabilities, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, information lifecycle management, and AI-driven contextualization. The role will help evolve the organization from traditional content repositories to intelligent, context-aware knowledge systems that support decision-making, productivity, and scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required)
  • 8-10 years of experience in enterprise knowledge management, content management, information architecture, or related disciplines.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI to knowledge content, including contextual search, intelligent retrieval, or automation use cases.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, including: SharePoint (architecture, governance, and design)
  • Experience using SharePoint Online (Modern).
  • Enterprise search and metadata strategies
  • Integration with Teams and other M365 services
  • Strong understanding of information lifecycle management, records management, and governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to operate as a deputy or senior leader, influencing without authority and partnering closely with executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data classification, content labeling, and AI-ready content preparation.
  • Background working in large, matrixed, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience driving adoption and behavior change related to new digital or AI-enabled tools.
  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives and influence across teams without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of professional services environment.
  • Ability to translate complex guidance into clear, usable content.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience implementing or supporting AI copilots, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), or knowledge intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as deputy to the Enterprise Knowledge Management leader, helping define and execute the enterprise knowledge strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
  • Drive the convergence of knowledge management and content management, ensuring a cohesive approach across structured and unstructured information.
  • Translate business needs into scalable knowledge solutions that support enterprise-wide adoption.
  • Lead the application of AI to knowledge and content, including discovery, summarization, classification, tagging, and retrieval.
  • Design and implement contextualization strategies so AI systems surface the right knowledge, to the right people, at the right time.
  • Partner with technology, AI, data, and security teams to ensure AI-enabled knowledge solutions are responsible, secure, and compliant.
  • Own the knowledge architecture within Microsoft 365, with deep expertise in SharePoint, Teams, copilot search, metadata, and integration patterns.
  • Optimize M365 as a knowledge platform, including governance models, information architecture, and user experience.
  • Guide best practices for content creation, reuse, and collaboration within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Lead information lifecycle management practices, including creation, classification, retention, archiving, and disposition.
  • Ensure knowledge and content governance balances compliance, risk management, and usability.
  • Define standards for metadata, taxonomies, content quality, and ownership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on knowledge, content, and AI capabilities.
  • Mentor team members and help build modern KM capabilities across the organization.
  • Drive change management and adoption for new knowledge and AI-driven ways of working.
