About The Position
To organize and coordinate the Knowledge Bowl program at Pullman High School.
Requirements
- Evidence of successful student activity advising experience
- Ability to obtain a Pullman School District Type II driver’s license upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with high school students in an academic setting
- First Aid/CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Recruit teams for Knowledge Bowl Competitions
- Hold appropriate meetings with students to prepare them for competition
- Assemble appropriate materials, arrange for relevant speakers, and hold practice sessions to prepare for competition
- Coordinate plans for competition with appropriate agencies/other advisors
- Supervise students in and at competitions
- Develop summer time reading list from the guides provided by the Knowledge Bowl program
- Develop a systematic program and status reports to inform school personnel regarding the Knowledge Bowl program and competition
- Fulfill other duties as required to appropriately field teams for competitions
