Knockout Cutoff Operator (3rd OWW)
About The Position
This position involves knocking out ceramic from foundry molds using a hammer, verifying parts against paperwork, performing alloy type tests with an X-ray spectrometer, and cutting castings using an abrasive cut-off saw. The role also includes trimming parts, ensuring proper alloy placement for revert, and verifying that paperwork accompanies foundry cast molds before the knockout process. The operator will record all work in Lot Control, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all safety rules and Standard Operating Procedures. Continuous training is required for certification, with all training documents needing approval before a wage increase.

Responsibilities
- Knock out ceramic from foundry molds with hammer.

- Rough and precision cut of castings using abrasive cut-off saw.
- Trim parts using abrasive cut-off saw.
- Ensure proper placement of alloy for revert.
- Ensure proper paper work is with foundry cast molds prior to Knock-Out.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Record all work performed in Lot Control.
- Keep the work area in a clean, orderly and safe working condition.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
