About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Kitting Technician for their First (1st) Shift. This role is crucial in one of the world's most essential industries, offering endless opportunities for growth within a globally recognized company. The position involves assembling, inspecting, cleaning, packaging, and kitting machined parts and bought-in items for customized kits in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment. The technician must be able to wear a cleanroom suit for extended periods. DHL Supply Chain has been certified as a Great Place to Work® in the US and Canada.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field of study
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• 6 months experience in a complex kitting, assembly environment

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work and operate in a clean room suit/bunny suit for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, clean, package and kit machined parts and bought-in items necessary for various customized types of kits.
• Assemble components and produce quality work, free from errors in a clean room environment.
• Maintain area and tool maintenance & cleanliness.
• Perform various complex assembly work of modified parts to produce customized kits.
• Manage and control inventory.
• Use tools to assemble parts.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure production goals are met.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
