About The Position

Responsible for supplying assigned Food and Beverage Department stations and maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas. This role involves detailed cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment, performing scheduled preventive maintenance cleaning, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position also requires promoting outstanding guest services and participating as a team member to ensure an efficient operation.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Frequently required to climb ladders and work in high areas.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 50 lb., and occasionally required to lift up to 75 lb.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Applicant must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Supplying assigned Food and Beverage Department stations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of work area, tabletops, floors, and food and bar equipment in accordance with casino standards.
  • Performing detailed cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment as assigned.
  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance cleaning.
  • Working in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance to standards set by management for proper care and cleaning of all heavy equipment, floor drains, vent-a-hoods, trash areas, and dock areas.
  • Maintaining knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Cleaning walls and ceiling tiles.
  • Mopping and sweeping bar, restaurant, kitchen, and service areas.
  • Removing empty bottles and trash.
  • Promoting outstanding guest services on a continual basis.
  • Participating as a team member with bartenders, servers, supervisors, chefs, and all other pertinent employees in ensuring an efficient operation.
  • Anticipating needs of coworkers and guests.
  • Creating an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
  • Encouraging mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all employees, by setting positive examples at all times.
