About The Position
This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and back-of-house areas. The role involves general cleaning, dishwashing, equipment maintenance, and assisting with food transportation and inventory. Adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and uniform standards is required.
Requirements
- Ability to handle chemicals as per company video.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general kitchen and back-of-house cleanliness.
- Remove all garbage and boxes.
- Perform dishwashing and pot washing.
- Sanitize floors.
- Perform cleaning maintenance on all kitchen equipment and return items to their proper place.
- Follow directions from the lead kitchen utility/executive kitchen steward.
- Transport food between the ship and shore.
- Assist receiving personnel in putting away food products.
- Assist buffet attendants and servers in replenishing clean dishes and silverware.
- Wear the appropriate uniform, including a white shirt and pants, apron, GVC ball cap or hair net, slip-resistant shoes, name badge, and gaming badge.
- Adhere to all Indiana Labor Laws if a minor.
