The Kitchen Utility Worker assists and works in all areas of the kitchen and dining room. This role provides a high level of customer service and promotes a restaurant-style dining atmosphere. The position works closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs. The role also assists with the preparation and execution of the Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs, maintains the kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times, adheres to cleaning schedules, and ensures that food is properly stored. Additionally, the Kitchen Utility Worker assists in dining room cleaning, bussing tables, setting tables, and assisting wait staff, while adhering to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices. The role also assists with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals, and will attend pre-meal stand-up meetings in the kitchen prior to meal service. Other duties may be performed as needed and/or assigned.
