About The Position
The Kitchen Utility/Dishwasher supports QVC and HSN in their studio kitchen. This role is responsible for kitchen organization, cleanliness, and sanitation. The individual will communicate daily with the Studio Kitchen Supervisor regarding kitchen activities, duties, and needs.
Requirements
- 6 months + experience in a diverse kitchen environment.
- Availability at least 20 hours per week.
- Must be available to work Tuesday night into Wednesday early morning and Saturday night into Sunday early morning.
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Communicate daily activities of the Kitchen department, including kitchen users, food preparation, food items, supplies, and equipment, to the Studio Kitchen Supervisor.
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain and clean all kitchen equipment, including dishes, pots, pans, workspaces, utensils, walk-ins, floors, and walls.
- Play an active role in food utilization to assist in lowering food costs through cross-utilization to streamline available inventory and avoid waste.
- Assist the Inventory Control Chief in breaking down daily inventory delivery and properly wrapping and storing items.
