Jack Flash is a family-owned, growing retailer in Illinois and Missouri. We were founded in 1986 with just one location. Now we have 18 locations ranging from convenience stores, truck stops, liquor stores, and car washes. We are dedicated to providing top notch customer service, a fun environment and fantastic products!

As a Kitchen Associate, you will play an important role in keeping our food program running smoothly. You will help prepare fresh food items, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure customers receive fast, friendly service.

No two shifts are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.

Requirements

• Fun, positive attitude
• Friendly and patient

• Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Basic math skills
• High School Graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Preparing and packaging food items according to company standards
• Cooking and stocking hot food products
• Keeping kitchen and food prep areas clean and sanitary
• Monitoring food quality and freshness
• Assisting customers with food orders and questions
• Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Supporting other store operations when needed
